Tomoan is a bright, resilient, and motivated woman who recently moved into transitional housing after being discharged from a safe house due to her experience with intimate partner violence. She is a devoted mother to her son, Prince, who is very attached to her. Tomoan hopes to complete her GED and enroll in college before leaving transitional housing. She is also excited to begin applying for local affordable housing as soon as possible.

As a single working mom, Tomoan leads a busy life! She is scheduled to take her driver’s license exam this week and is currently saving up for a car. Although she uses the bus whenever possible, her 15-minute car trips often turn into 90-minute commutes due to changing routes.
