Cherish is a bright and mature young woman, wise beyond her years. She has been living with her grandmother since the age of eight and expresses deep gratitude for the care and support her grandmother has provided over the past decade. Cherish is highly goal-oriented and focused on her academic future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and building strong, positive relationships.

Cherish is graduating from high school in June 2025 and has been accepted into her dream university, California Polytechnic State University, and will be moving from San Diego to San Luis Obispo to live in the college dorms. Since all of her family and friends are in San Diego, Cherish will not have a local support system nearby as she begins this new chapter. While she is excited, she’s also feeling anxious about being away from home for the first time. To help ease the transition, Cherish would like to make her dorm feel like home and ensure she has the essentials she’ll need. She is requesting an Amazon gift card to purchase some dorm essentials. She hopes to buy a shower caddy, a shoe rack, a hanger holder, a mini vacuum, and a bed set. These are just a few examples of what she'll need to settle comfortably into dorm life.
