Luke is a remarkable young man who was born a twin to a mother struggling with addiction. He and his brother were born prematurely and faced several challenges, including a learning disability. However, Luke has shown great resilience. After two years in foster care, he is on track to be adopted by a loving couple. Luke loves sports and enjoys playing video games that involve tasks and racing, which help him improve his skills and have fun.

As the weather warms up, Luke would like to have summer footwear, specifically trendy slides, as he has only old, worn-out boots that are inadequate for the season. Luke has never had the opportunity to own nice things, and having a stylish pair of slides would not only provide him with comfort but also help him feel more confident and included among his peers.
