Chandra's journey through foster care has shaped her in many ways, even though it's hard for her to express. She was placed in foster care right after she was born and lived with several different families until she turned three. This constant change forced her to adapt quickly—she moved a lot, met new people, and had to fit into different family dynamics. One of Chandra's greatest strengths is her ability to connect with others. She has a natural talent for listening to people and making them feel understood and appreciated. Her sense of humor shines through, and she has always loved to laugh and bring joy to others. In her free time, Chandra enjoys helping those with disabilities, seniors, or anyone who needs assistance. She has a passion for basketball and takes time for self-care routines like facials and caring for her hair and skin. Watching comedies and making others laugh gives her a lot of happiness. What truly makes Chandra special is her spirit. Despite the challenges she faced at such a young age, she stays hopeful, joyful, and caring. She refuses to let her past define her or change who she is.

Chandra would really appreciate having an iPhone. This phone would be beneficial for her as she prepares to apply to school in the fall. It will help her stay organized during the process of applying for financial aid, registering for classes, and keeping in touch with her basketball coach and loved ones. She will be so happy to have her own phone and keep herself organized!
