Jayenick moved to the United States from Haiti. Despite being in a new environment and attending a different school, she excelled in her studies. Now, she is seeking a job that accommodates her schedule. Although she is highly motivated, she lacks familial support and is currently in the care of the Department of Children and Families (DCPP).

Jayenick has recently enrolled in a program to earn the final credits needed for her high school diploma. At the beginning of the program, she was able to check and submit her assignments using her tablet. Unfortunately, her tablet has stopped working, making it difficult for her to complete her assignments on time. Having a new tablet would greatly help Jayenick as she balances her schoolwork and job.
