Angel has had a tough experience in the foster care system, filled with sadness and disappointment, but also some joy. He learned to be self-reliant and cautious, often keeping to himself to avoid conflict. Despite these challenges, Angel has developed resilience and leadership skills, proud of the obstacles he has overcome. Sports, particularly baseball and football, have been a positive influence in his life, helping him stay focused and motivated. In his free time, he enjoys staying active through sports, which gives him a sense of community and purpose. What makes Angel special is his maturity and ability to rise above his struggles. Instead of being defeated by his experiences, he has used them to grow stronger. Currently, he works and lives with a roommate while striving for full independence. His goal is to enroll in college and achieve stability by securing his own apartment. He is seeking support for essential job placement and living needs, viewing this opportunity as a crucial step toward a better life.

Angel is committed to becoming healthier and building his self-esteem. He recognizes that staying idle can negatively impact both his mental and physical well-being, so he actively seeks ways to stay productive and maintain a positive outlook. When he’s not working, he enjoys exercising as a way to release stress, boost his mood, and maintain a sense of routine and discipline. Although he cannot currently afford a gym membership, he would like a set of adjustable dumbbells to stay motivated and achieve results through home workouts, outdoor activities, and creative ways to stay fit. Regular exercise supports his emotional resilience, helps regulate his sleep and energy levels, and reinforces his commitment to becoming the best version of himself.
