Mya is a quiet child who is beginning to open up and laugh a little more. She loves arts and crafts, activities that allow her to focus and express herself in a calm manner. While she is generally mild-mannered, she does experience negative emotions that can occasionally bubble to the surface. This is not uncommon for children who have experienced trauma, and her caregivers are working with her to manage those emotions properly. Mya has taken on the responsibility of caring for the family pets, which gives her a sense of purpose and makes her feel like an important part of the family. She does an amazing job, showering the pets with affection. Mya loves animals and bonds well with them.
