Leah is a determined young mother who overcame significant challenges to create a better life for herself and her daughter. She navigated the foster care system and, at 17, found out she was pregnant and discovered the strength to break the cycle and secure stable housing through foster care resources. Leah is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and aims to earn a master’s in social work. Her goal is to help foster and justice-involved youth find stability and hope, using her own experiences as a source of healing and guidance for others.

Leah is a devoted single mother who has worked incredibly hard to build a loving, stable life for her daughter after spending eight years in foster care. As her daughter’s 5th birthday approaches, Leah’s greatest wish is to celebrate this milestone by taking her to her favorite place, Disneyland. It’s where they’ve made some of their most joyful memories together, and returning for her birthday would mean the world to both of them. Granting this special wish would give Leah the chance to see her daughter light up with happiness, creating memories that remind them both how far they’ve come together.
