Zuri is a happy, playful and loving girl who is currently living in a foster home without her two siblings. Zuri loves music and dance and has not allowed being placed in foster to stop her from being a very happy little girl. Zuri loves animals and likes to take the family dog out for walks. She has made lots of new friends in her new school. Zuri's favorite colors are purple, pink, and orange. She loves dolls and likes to play dress up. Zuri loves to dance and draw pictures. One of her drawings has been hung up in the Main Library.

Zuri is super excited to go to summer camp for the first time! She'll be there for two weeks, spending time with her sibling and making great memories together. Since she's grown a lot, Zuri needed new clothes and shoes for the summer. She really loves the color pink and saw some cute pink high top sneakers online that she wanted. However, her foster parent is on a budget and hasn't been able to buy them. It's important for kids in foster care to have new things like clothes and shoes because it helps boost their self-esteem and makes them feel valued and cared for.
