Nickolie currently lives in a group home and is feeling isolated from his siblings. He has suffered neglect and abuse while in his biological family home. Despite these challenges, he remains a joyful and playful young man. He enjoys making new friends and bringing joy to others, even when he himself is feeling blue.

Nickolie really needs a phone to help him during his weekly travels. He spends about three hours each week commuting to meet his potential adoptive placement, and having a phone would provide him with someone to talk to during those long rides. Being able to connect with his future family would not only make the journey more enjoyable but also help him build a relationship with them as he prepares for this next step.
