City Living NYShavon is a motivated young woman who is diligently working towards earning her college degree. She recently moved into her own apartment, where she lives with her adorable puppy. This is an exciting time in her life. Shavon also receives support services from City Living, which assists individuals who have aged out of foster care.
Shavon has been caring for a relative’s child since birth and is now in the process of adopting them. With limited childcare support, she has had to cut back her work hours, allocating most of her income toward the child and basic household needs. As a result, Shavon hasn’t been able to afford new clothes, and much of what she owns no longer fits. She’s simply asking for a chance to get a few new items—just something to help her feel like herself again. This is wish 2 of 2.
