Hana spent eight years in foster care and often felt a deep sense of isolation and longing for their family. They were able to find strength in small moments of kindness and connection with other children in the system. Despite feeling unheard and unsupported at times, they developed resilience and found comfort in creative outlets such as fashion, journaling, and music. They’re proud of their growth and are determined to build a stable and fulfilling life. In the near future, Hana hopes to pursue a career in tech, heal from their past, and eventually support others with similar experiences.

Beyond the challenges they faced in the foster care system, Hana was diagnosed with alopecia from a very young age. This condition caused Hana to lose their hair, and often feel shy, confused, or anxious. As Hana grew up, they learned to be confident in their skin despite their condition. However, Hana would still love the option of having long and beautiful hair. Having a wig would bring back a piece of Hana that they feel they have been missing for a long time.
