Lotus is a quiet and kind-hearted young lady. She has been living in a group home in a different city, which separated her from her younger sister—a situation that has weighed heavily on her. Lotus expressed her desire to be closer to her sister, and now, thanks to moving into a foster home, that wish has come true. She is now living nearer to her sister and is hopeful that they will soon be able to visit more often. Lotus entered foster care due to an incident involving her biological mother. Her father, who lives in another state, is working hard to reunify with both Lotus and her younger sister. In the meantime, Lotus stays in contact with him through her cell phone, and this connection means a great deal to her. She is genuinely excited about the opportunity to make supportive friends and leave behind some of the challenges she faced in the group home, where she was often bullied. Making and keeping friends hasn’t always been easy for Lotus. She is very artistic and loves to draw and paint. Her incredible creativity drives one of her biggest dreams: to become a tattoo artist.

Lotus finds comfort and joy in drawing. She recently moved into a new foster home where, for the first time in a long while, she has her own room and a quiet space to focus on what she loves. Lotus is wishing for a calligraphy pen set to help her continue exploring her artistic talents. Having this set would allow her to spend her alone time doing something meaningful—drawing, journaling, and creating art that reflects her feelings. Art has been a powerful outlet for Lotus, especially after experiencing bullying in her previous group home. Now that she’s in a more peaceful environment, this pen set would be the perfect tool to help her heal, grow, and continue dreaming of her future career as a tattoo artist.
