Jada is a passionate and determined young woman who has shown remarkable resilience throughout her foster care journey. She plans to build a career in social services. She is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of others who have experienced the child welfare system. After completing her undergraduate degree, she plans to continue her education by earning a master’s degree. She is known for her compassion, dedication, and strong sense of purpose. Outside of her academic and career goals, she enjoys relaxing by binge-watching the Harry Potter series and cuddling with her kitten.

Jada is living on her own for the first time while attending UCLA, juggling the demands of college and independence with strength and maturity. As she settles into her new apartment, one of her biggest challenges has been creating a functional and comfortable living space without the basic furniture. Jada wishes for a dresser and nightstand combination to store her clothes and personal items, making everyday routines less stressful than they need to be. It’s a small step that would make a big difference in helping her feel settled and proud of the home she’s creating for herself.
