A bed frame to make Jasmine's house feel like an actual home

Jasmine, 20 years old, CA

Wish submitted by:

Foster Nation

Jasmine faced many obstacles during her 4 years in foster care, including the passing of her adoptive parents. Although she often felt lost or hopeless, she learned to look for light at the end of every tunnel, and honor the memory of her parents by living her own life with strength and purpose. Jasmine found comfort in outlets such as painting and hiking in nature. She wishes more people understood that foster youth have diverse needs and that no single solution fits all. Jasmine sees herself becoming a correctional officer, advocating for prison reform, and achieving financial stability for herself and her family.

Throughout her time in the foster care system, Jasmine struggled to feel like she truly had a home. Now that she lives on her own, she wants to ensure that her apartment feels like a safe and comfortable space. To help achieve this, Jasmine is hoping for a bed frame. Having a bed frame instead of just a mattress would make Jasmine's space feel like a true home.
