Brenda is an inspiring young woman from El Salvador who moved to the U.S. at 12. Her journey through foster care began in 9th grade after being separated from her beloved father. The separation was devastating, but Brenda believes that everything in life happens for a reason. Despite the challenges, including a language barrier, Brenda graduated from high school and went on to college, eventually becoming a permanent resident. Brenda draws strength from her faith in God. In her free time, Brenda enjoys dancing, singing, listening to music, exploring new places, and spending time with her partner.

Brenda really needs an electric scooter to help her get around. She's a young adult who just started a new job, and she wants to be reliable and stable. Without a car, it's tough for her to commute, especially since public transportation can be unreliable and doesn’t always fit her work schedule. Having a scooter would make a huge difference for her. It would help her get to work on time and get home safely, giving her the freedom and independence she needs right now. This would not only make her daily life easier, but it would also help her focus on saving for her own apartment and going back to school in the future. A scooter is essential for her to stay employed and feel confident in handling her responsibilities. She’s ready to work hard, and this scooter would really help her on that journey.
