Shawntay is new to her foster home and enjoys bonding with her new foster parents over their shared love of Disney movies and shows. She maintains a good relationship with her biological brothers, whom she sees every day during daycare hours. Shawntay loves playing games on her phone and is generally independent with most of her daily living skills. She also enjoys sensory items, such as fuzzy blankets or being snuggled tightly.

Shawntay recently discovered that her phone needs to be monitored and can only be used in the common areas of the house. She loves playing games on her phone, but the common areas can get quite chaotic. As a compromise, Shawntay would like a tablet, such as an Amazon Fire tablet, to play video games. Her parents would set up parental controls, ensuring she does not have access to email or text messages. This would make a fantastic birthday gift for her!
