Shawntay is new to her foster home and enjoys bonding with her new foster parents over their shared love of Disney movies and shows. She maintains a good relationship with her biological brothers, whom she sees every day during daycare hours. Shawntay loves playing games on her phone and is generally independent with most of her daily living skills. She also enjoys sensory items, such as fuzzy blankets or being snuggled tightly.

Shawntay just found out today that her phone needs to be monitored and only used in the common areas. Shawntay loves playing games on her phone. The common areas of the house can get chaotic, so Shawntay usually plays the games in her bedroom. As a compromise, Shawntay would like a tablet to play video games on, such as a Kindle Fire. Parents would put parental controls in place, and she would not have access to email or text messages.
