Yanai is a remarkably resilient young lady with a complex mix of self-confidence and apprehension. She has grown more confident through her improvement in school and by discovering her voice, which has become loud and clear. She has a great love for animals and fashion! Yanai is working hard in school to create many opportunities for herself and takes great pride in anything that reflects her hard work.

Yanai is saying goodbye to her beloved elementary school backpack. She has her sights set on a more durable and grown-up backpack that she can rely on throughout middle school. She is thrilled about having extra pockets to store her treasures, a laptop sleeve large enough for her Chromebook, and enough space for her very organized binders, as she will have six classes now! Yanai is excited about this new chapter in her life and wants to feel as prepared as possible.
