Donald has been in the foster care system for quite some time. He was adopted but things did not work out with his adoptive family and he was put back into the foster care system. Donald has had a lot of ups and downs throughout his life. He is trying to do his best and get good grades and figure out the next steps toward a good future.

Donald has been feeling the effects of insufficient sleep and is eager to catch up. Growing up, he relied on a box fan to create a soothing white noise that he found comforting. Recently, his therapist recommended trying a white noise machine, which has sparked Donald's hope for better sleep. Excited about the prospect of finally getting some restful nights, he looks forward to the difference it might make, as he’s tired of tossing and turning each night.
