Johnson and his siblings were removed from their home due to terrible living conditions, domestic violence, and parental substance abuse. As a result, he has missed a significant amount of school and is behind academically, which has been a challenge for him. Despite these difficulties, he is a sweet boy who tries hard to fit in and make friends. However, it can be challenging for him because he doesn’t always have clean clothes or good attendance. Now that he is in his great aunt's care, he hopes for a fresh start, allowing him to build new friendships and gain confidence. He enjoys building things and playing video games.

Johnson has had a tough time at school, mainly because he’s been teased about how his clothes looked or smelled. This year, he’s starting fresh at a new school after moving in with his aunt. He really hopes to get some new clothes so he can feel good about this new beginning. The thought of shopping for new clothes really excites him!
