Deyonnah is an older sister and is a natural leader and helper. Deyonnah is also a big cat lover and lights up whenever she talks about her furry friends.

Deyonnah is an active young lady who loves participating in all the fun activities, especially swimming and outdoor play. She has sneakers that are falling apart; the soles are slowly tearing away, making it difficult for her to stay comfortable and safe. Her mom works only 20 hours a week at a part-time job and is currently struggling to afford new sneakers for her daughters. A new pair of sneakers would mean the world to Deyonnah, helping her feel confident, comfortable, and ready to take on middle school.
