Since being placed in foster care, he sometimes struggles to focus, but his heart is big and his determination shines through. He looks up to his big brother and always tries to keep his siblings laughing.
Diego wishes for a school supply shopping experience where he can pick out the coolest superhero folder, bright crayons, and a backpack that makes him feel like he’s ready for anything. Making those choices on his own would be empowering and exciting, and something that feels like an adventure just for him. It would give him a fresh start and something to smile about as the school year begins.
