Sakira is a bright and determined young lady with a love for storytelling and creativity. Despite the challenges she faces in her journey through foster care, she remains hopeful and filled with dreams for the future. Her curiosity and passion for learning shine through in everything she does. Sakira has a deep appreciation for books, especially those filled with adventure and mythology. She enjoys reading stories about strong, courageous heroines and loves to write her own imaginative tales. Her dream is to one day become an author, sharing stories that inspire and empower others. In addition to her love for literature, Sakira enjoys dancing and practicing classical Indian dance forms, such as Bharatanatyam. She finds joy in expressing herself through movement and hopes to perform on a big stage someday.

Sakira is currently learning to cook on her own as she continues building her independent living skills. She’s asking for a new set of nonstick frying pans to help her prepare meals safely and easily. Her current cookware is old and worn out, making it difficult to cook effectively. Having a quality pan set will help her enjoy cooking, stay on track with healthy meals, and feel more confident and comfortable in her kitchen.
