Being in foster care was challenging for Ayuana, especially as a young Black girl in a traditional Mexican household. She had to adapt to a different culture while sharing parts of her own, which shaped her ability to find beauty in new experiences. One of her biggest strengths is perseverance; she never gives up and advocates for herself, even when her voice isn’t the loudest. In her free time, Ayuana enjoys listening to music, watching TV shows, and learning to sew, which serves as a creative outlet. Her ability to adapt without losing her identity is a key part of her resilience.

Ayuana has been researching various apps and features that would enhance her learning experience, and she’s excited about the prospect of using technology to improve her productivity. Additionally, having an iPad would allow her to easily collaborate with classmates on projects and access a wealth of online resources. With the versatility of an iPad, Ayuana can take notes during lectures, organize her coursework, and even participate in interactive discussions. She's particularly interested in apps that can help her manage her time effectively, ensuring she stays on top of her assignments and deadlines.
