Therapeutic Interagency ProgramAmanda is a wonderful older sister who has tried hard to protect her younger brothers to the best of her ability. She experienced a lot of physical abuse while living with her parents and was removed from home recently to be in a safer placement. She is struggling to feel comfortable around new people and re-learn how to trust adults. She loves to draw and always feels happy when she is at school and with her teachers.
Amanda is excited for a fresh start at her new school this year. The end of her last school year was a challenge since she was keeping a lot of secrets about her abuse she was experiencing, and she is glad that she can be in a safer home now. Amanda is nervous and excited to go back to school all at the same time. She would be happy to have new school supplies, including a cute water bottle that she can carry each day to stay hydrated while participating in school activities.
