Atlas is a thoughtful young person who entered the foster care system at age 15 after fleeing domestic and gang violence in Guatemala. They have faced more hardship in their young life, yet they continue to move forward with quiet strength and determination. As a nonbinary individual navigating homelessness, Atlas is doing everything they can to stay safe, hopeful, and grounded while they wait for stable housing.

Atlas, now housed after overcoming homelessness, would like an Echo smart speaker to help manage their health and daily routine. The device is essential because it will provide voice-activated reminders for medications and appointments, which can be hard for Atlas to keep track of while adjusting to a new living situation. The Echo will also offer Atlas soothing sounds and music that help reduce anxiety and create a calm environment, making it a vital part of their journey toward stability and independence.
