Nina entered foster care in early 2025 and, despite being a few months developmentally delayed and having failed hearing tests since birth, she is now thriving with appropriate services. She recently got hearing aids and is loving all the new sounds she can hear! She especially loves dancing to the theme song of her favorite show, Octonauts. Nina will be turning one next month, and her curiosity is at an all-time high. She's always on the go and loves to see what everyone else is up to.

Nina enjoys holding things and often reaches for items in front of her. Providing her with keys can help her feel included and keep her hands away from the "real" objects that tend to collect a lot of germs.
