Julie is a bright and courageous young lady. As a foster youth, she has faced many obstacles but continues to focus on her education and her passions. She loves reading about mysteries and adventures, making friends, and pushing herself academically.

Julie is starting at a new middle school in a couple of weeks. She's excited to make new friends but feels a bit anxious about the three-mile commute since there’s no bus system available. She has been wishing for a bike to make the journey easier and would also like a bike helmet for safety. Julie can’t wait to ride her new purple bike with her helmet as she commutes to school each day!
