Miles is a domestic violence survivor. He escaped an abusive relationship and was homeless for nine months. Miles recently enrolled in a housing program and has been enjoying his new apartment and taking college classes. He loves learning and is in the process of healing with the help of therapy and his newly adopted puppy.

Miles has been tirelessly searching for work, applying online and walking around his neighborhood to hand out resumes, but he hasn’t had any luck for the past three months. With no source of income, he’s been skipping meals just to make sure his new puppy gets a small treat each day. A grocery gift card would help Miles nourish himself while continuing his job search and allow him to share a bit of joy with his loyal puppy, who brings him comfort during this difficult time.
