VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountySolina is an amazing and smart young lady. Solina loves to read and is studying to become a nurse. She loves helping others and has volunteered at several hospitals. Solina has not allowed her placement in foster care to deter her from studying hard and making the honor roll. She is excited about college and living on campus. Solina hopes to one day be in a position to help her younger siblings who are in foster care.
Solina has been accepted into the university to study nursing, and she is really excited to live on campus. To focus on her studies, she decided to quit her part-time job. She is requesting a rolling backpack to help her carry her large books to and from class since she has to walk a considerable distance to get to her classes.
