Alex, a sweet boy, is in the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services and is currently living with a foster family. He is an affectionate and kind-hearted little boy who has endured abuse since infancy. His current foster family is seeking support to help Alex develop important skills such as patience and motor coordination.

Alex's current placement provided him with an old Game Boy, which helped him develop valuable skills like patience and fine motor coordination. As he explored Mario games on the device, the family saw him grow and thrive; he even uncovered secrets in the games that they hadn't noticed before. Unfortunately, the Game Boy has now stopped working. Alex would enjoy having a Nintendo Switch and a Mario game. This would allow him to continue building skills and bring him joy during what is an incredibly challenging time for him.
