AAO Social ServicesJazzlin is sweet and very social. She is the life of the party and is always up for anything. She came into care late in the game, just a few months before her 18th birthday. Jazzlin is a resident of a group home for young ladies who have aged out of foster care.
Jazzlin entered foster care at the age of 17 and is now 19. She is trying to begin living independently but is struggling since finding out that she is pregnant. Currently, she lives in a shared housing program for young women working towards independence. However, living with roommates comes with its challenges, including the frequent issue of others taking the food she has purchased for herself. Coupled with the emotional toll of pregnancy, these difficulties are proving to be overwhelming for her. To help manage the situation, she has requested a mini fridge in her bedroom to keep her groceries separate from her roommates'.
