Linsey is a devoted mother and an aspiring nurse. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology with a minor in health and wellness. During her time in foster care, cheerleading provided her with a much-needed outlet. Now, as a parent, she encourages her children to engage in various sports and physical activities, including swimming, gymnastics, track and field, and golf. Although she recently worked as a nurse assistant, she is currently enjoying her time as a stay-at-home mom, exploring the nearby preserve and going on outdoor adventures with her kids.

Linsey recently experienced a traumatic birth. She was induced at almost 42 weeks and had to stay in the hospital for an extended period due to a C-section and complications. Three days after returning home, she was transported by ambulance back to the hospital. Although she is now home, her recovery is expected to take longer than anticipated. Linsey is grateful that her partner has secured a good job; however, since he has not been with the company long enough, they do not qualify for paid paternity leave. Additionally, they have limited family support, which makes Linsey worried about managing their finances during this challenging time, especially when she needs her partner to help care for their older child. Receiving assistance with groceries would significantly alleviate some of the stress Linsey is facing right now. This request was split up so that Linsey can get what her family needs.
