Skylar was abandoned by her mother, and after years of being shifted from one family member to another, she is now residing with her grandmother. She is a quiet, shy, and lovable little girl. She doesn't speak much until she gets to know someone, at which point she becomes quite the chatterbox! Her favorite color is pink, and she adores Hello Kitty. Currently, Skylar doesn't have any friends but is excited about the possibility of making some at school. She receives support from the Department of Children and Families Services.

Skylar is thriving in her grandmother's care! She will be starting kindergarten next month and is so excited to meet kids her age and make some friends, finally. Skylar wishes for some pretty clothes to wear to her new school! A gift card to the Children's Place would allow her and her grandmother to shop and pick out some fun and pretty outfits for school!
