VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyDanielle is an amazing young lady who is currently placed in foster care with her younger sibling. She has had somewhat of a hard time in foster care, but she is currently trying to work through the emotional trauma she suffered. She loves to sing and dance. Danielle also loves to style hair and wants to own her own salon one day.
Danielle is excited to start 11th grade next month and reunite with her classmates. She has been school shopping with her savings from working at the local Dairy Queen. This year, she plans to try out for the cheerleading team and has been practicing her routine over the summer. Danielle is also hoping to get a new pair of sneakers that will go with several outfits she bought. Supporting her not only helps meet her basic needs that vouchers might not cover, but it also allows her to express her identity and thrive in school.
