Mike has faced more change in a short time than most experience in a lifetime. With his father absent and his mother incarcerated for several years to come, he entered foster care, unsure of what the future would hold. Since then, he has embraced independent living, worked hard in school, and taken full advantage of the services available to him. He is making friends, building new skills, and truly coming out of his shell. His maturity, resilience, and positive attitude have helped him thrive, and he continues to set his sights on a brighter future.

Mike has been thriving in independent living, excelling in school, and making new friends. He has faced the challenges of foster care with maturity and determination, and his confidence has grown tremendously. He would love a pair of Nike Air Force 1s to wear to school and when spending time with friends. Having these shoes would not only give him a boost of confidence but also help him feel like he fits in with his peers.
