Kym and her family have been through an incredibly difficult time. After her father was incarcerated, her mother lost their housing, and Kym was placed in foster care. Adjusting to a new home has been hard, especially since she grew up very close to her mom. Now, only seeing her for a few hours each week has been heartbreaking. Despite the challenges, Kym is doing her best to stay strong while holding on to the hope of being reunited with the comfort and love of her family

Kym would really appreciate receiving a Marshall's gift card to buy new clothes for the school year. Having a few outfits that make her feel good would help boost her confidence as she starts in a new environment. She hopes to use the gift card during one of her visits with her mom, turning back-to-school shopping into a special moment they can share. Kym knows her mom loves helping her pick out clothes, and this experience would give them a chance to bond. Shopping together would not only prepare Kym for school but also create a meaningful memory that they can both hold on to when they are not together.
