Tomoan is a bright, resilient, and motivated woman who recently moved into transitional housing after being discharged from a safe house due to her experience with intimate partner violence. She is a devoted mother to her son, Prince, who is very attached to her. Tomoan hopes to complete her GED and enroll in college before leaving transitional housing. She is also excited to begin applying for local affordable housing as soon as possible.

Tomoan and her son, Prince, recently moved into transitional housing and have been gradually acquiring their own belongings. They had some glassware, but when Prince offered to help around the house with cleaning, he accidentally broke two glasses. To make their home more kid-friendly, Tomoan is now looking to switch to plastic instead.
