He loves school and wants to be an attorney to help other children who are in foster care. Damari loves being a big brother and helps his younger brother with homework and chores. He misses his family but understands his mother is getting the help she needs. Damari loves playing video games and basketball.
Damari will be starting 8th grade when he returns to school next month. He just moved to a new home and will be attending a new school. Damari is excited about this change and recently tried out for the school's football team, and he made the team! He loves sports, especially football. For his first day of school, Damari asked for a new pair of all-white tennis shoes. Having a pair of cool Nike shoes will boost his self-esteem and help him feel more confident during this transitional time.
