Gabriel has faced significant challenges in his life, including being in and out of placements after the loss of his father and the long absence of his mother. He faced years of abuse but eventually found the courage to speak out and seek help. Now, Gabriel is doing great and is really thriving in school. He’s smart, funny, and talented! He plays three sports: wrestling, lacrosse, and cross country. He loves building models and figuring out how things work. Gabriel is also part of the Naval NJROTC program and wants to join the military after high school. He’s interested in engineering and is thinking about taking college courses while he’s still in high school.

Gabriel is thriving under the care of his ROTC instructor and resource parent. He is excelling in his studies, actively participating in sports, making new friends, and overall experiencing some of the best moments of his life. With his birthday approaching, Gabriel would love to have a Nintendo Switch. Previously, he owned one, but it was sold by his mother before he left home. As he celebrates this milestone, having a Switch would add even more joy to his newfound happiness and help him connect with friends through gaming.
