Growing up in foster care taught her resilience and adaptability. Moving through multiple placements made it challenging to have consistent access to personal belongings or a quiet space to focus. In college, those challenges still echo as studying in busy environments or living in shared spaces often makes it difficult to concentrate and find calm moments to recharge.
