Alisha is a strong and determined young woman who has faced many challenges in her life. While in foster care, she has kept her grades high and joined activities like Chorus. Even though she has gone through tough times, she has worked hard to heal and has become a caring role model for others at home and school. Alisha dreams of becoming a nurse and is actively working toward that goal. Even though she didn’t get chosen in the lottery for a program she wanted, she is not giving up; she is looking for other ways to continue her education. Alisha wants to break the cycle of foster care and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Her dedication, kindness, and hard work will surely help her succeed in nursing and in life!
