Joshua is a quiet boy who has experienced a lot of abuse and neglect. He was removed from his parents' home and placed with a relative, who then overdosed, so he moved again. He can be very protective of his little sisters, and also is quick to frustration and anger. It has been hard for him to process all of the changes and losses. He finds joy in food and in playing with building toys quietly by himself.

Joshua is going to be thrilled to receive this large set of Duplos! He has a passion for building, but currently doesn't own any blocks of his own, so this gift will be a fantastic source of fun for him. Recently, he has experienced a lot of loss and is having a tough time adjusting to his new home. Having a creative outlet like this will provide him with a meaningful way to cope during those overwhelming moments.
