Joshua is a quiet boy who has experienced a lot of abuse and neglect. He was removed from his parents' home and placed with a relative, who then overdosed, so he moved again. He can be very protective of his little sisters, and also is quick to frustration and anger. It has been hard for him to process all of the changes and losses. He finds joy in food and in playing with building toys quietly by himself.

Joshua is adjusting to a new home after being moved twice from his family due to abuse, neglect, and substance abuse. This year, he will be starting school, and he needs some new clothes to help him feel confident and good about himself. While he has the basic essentials at his new place, none of his clothes are new. Having a few items that are just for him would mean so much and truly help him in this fresh start. This wish has been divided up so that Joshua can get everything he needs. This is wish 1 of 2.
