Terrence entered the foster care system as a teenager and faced many challenges when he turned 18 and moved into Extended Foster Care. It took him years to manage his mental health issues, but through resilience, he built a strong support system. He is focused on college, majoring in social work to help children who have gone through similar experiences. Terrence wants to be a voice of support and advocacy for those in need. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends, dining out, and exploring his town. He is working to create a life of connection and purpose. With hope for the future, Terrence is determined to make a difference.

Terrence is about to begin his second year of community college. During his first year, he struggled to stay focused on school as he was still learning to manage his mental health. Now, after working hard to achieve stability, Terrence is entering this new school year with determination and a clear goal: to do his very best. Classes are starting, and he plans to attend every single one. To make this possible, Terrence is requesting an electric scooter. Having a scooter would enable him to commute to college independently, without relying on public transportation or others for rides. This reliability is especially important as he prepares to age out of the foster system in a few months. Once that happens, Terrence will need to secure employment to pay rent, and an electric scooter would provide him with a dependable way to travel to both school and work. An electric scooter would be a practical and lasting tool to help him succeed in this important chapter of his life.
