Crystal is currently in foster care following experiences of physical abuse, but there is a plan in place for family reunification. She is part of a sibling group of five and is happily placed with one of her siblings during this time. Despite the trauma she has endured, Crystal remains a friendly child who finds joy in listening to music. To help her manage her behaviors and emotions, she receives weekly services that support her on her journey to healing.

Crystal really wants to have her own tablet because she sees many kids around her with one. Having a tablet would make her happy and give her a useful tool for growing up. It could help calm her down by letting her listen to music when she's upset. Plus, she could play fun learning games that would entertain her and help her learn new things.
