Deacon has been placed with his paternal grandparents. He has overcome many challenges related to education, social skills, and everyday life skills. Motivated to continue this progress, Deacon engages in show choir and theater at his high school. Although he is aging out of the system, he has worked hard to secure housing, save for a car, and identify resources to prepare for independent living with his brother.

Deacon has a deep passion for the performing arts, particularly show choir, where he discovers joy, confidence, and an incredible sense of belonging. For him, it goes beyond just singing and dancing; it's a stage that allows him to feel seen, valued, and free to express his true self. However, he needs a little assistance with the final payment so he can fully participate in all the excitement and fun.
