Kendall is a remarkable young girl who has faced significant challenges in her life. Due to her mother’s struggles with mental health, her grandmother took on the responsibility of raising her to prevent her from entering the foster care system. Unfortunately, Kendall's mother may never regain her role due to serious circumstances that affected both Kendall and her sibling. Kendall herself has developed challenges requiring frequent therapy and suffering from night terrors. Despite it all, she is a shy, sweet girl with a creative spirit. She enjoys drawing, cooking, playing video games, and watching movies. Kendall expresses herself beautifully and loves giving hugs and creating heartfelt cards for others.

Kendall will be entering the 7th grade this year and is more determined than ever to do well in her studies. A few of her classes require her to have her own headphones to complete her work. However, she lacks the resources needed to purchase them. Kendall would be so happy to receive headphones that will help her focus during testing and other activities that require attention in a busy environment.
