Delilah is a bright, hardworking young lady who has spent much of her young life in and out of foster care. For years, she has faced challenges that most kids her age never have to think about. Despite this, she has remained determined to succeed—and today, she’s an honor roll student excelling in her honors classes.

One of the biggest breakthroughs for Delilah while she has been in care is cheerleading. For years, she struggled with social anxiety and school avoidance, often finding it difficult to feel like she belonged. But joining her school’s cheer team has completely changed that. Cheerleading has provided her with a safe and positive outlet, where she feels confident, included, and supported. She is coming out of her shell, making friends, and participating in school life in ways she never thought possible. To continue being part of the team, Delilah needs cheer gear, including shoes, socks, pom-poms, and two pairs of shorts to wear under the uniform. Without these essentials, she won’t be able to participate with her team—something she has worked so hard to earn and overcome many personal barriers to achieve. Granting this wish will give Delilah the opportunity to continue building her confidence, deepening her friendships, and experiencing the pride that comes from belonging to something positive. Most importantly, you’re helping her continue a journey of growth that is already changing her life. This wish was broken into two parts to allow for an amazing shopping experience!
