She enjoys hanging out with friends, drawing, listening to music, crocheting, and reading. Me'lanii is learning how to express her feelings, as she often shuts down when asked about her emotions. She lives with her grandmother and sister and, after experiencing constant moves, is in the process of learning how to settle down and transition.
Me'lanii has grown over the past year and needs new school clothes. She wishes for a Target gift card to shop for clothes that fit her properly. Having the right clothes will make it easier for Me'lanii to adapt to her new school environment. She will be able to face the school year with courage and confidence, allowing her to keep that smile, even on tough days.
